Third Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I Trailer!

Warner Bros. has debuted the second full-length trailer for the highly-anticipated movie Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I, which will arrive in theaters on November 19. The final installment of the series, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II, will hit theaters next summer on July 15, 2011. Click below to watch all-new footage from this movie and get a closer look at what's happening at Hogwarts this year:

Part 1 begins as Harry, Ron and Hermione set out on their perilous mission to track down and destroy the secret to Voldemort's immortality and destruction-the Horcruxes. On their own, without the guidance of their professors or the protection of Professor Dumbledore, the three friends must now rely on one another more than ever. But there are Dark Forces in their midst that threaten to tear them apart.

Meanwhile, the wizarding world has become a dangerous place for all enemies of the Dark Lord. The long-feared war has begun and Voldemort's Death Eaters seize control of the Ministry of Magic and even Hogwarts, terrorizing and arresting anyone who might oppose them. But the one prize they still seek is the one most valuable to Voldemort: Harry Potter. The Chosen One has become the hunted one as the Death Eaters search for Harry with orders to bring him to Voldemort... alive.

Harry's only hope is to find the Horcruxes before Voldemort finds him. But as he searches for clues, he uncovers an old and almost forgotten tale-the legend of the Deathly Hallows. And if the legend turns out to be true, it could give Voldemort the ultimate power he seeks.

Little does Harry know that his future has already been decided by his past when, on that fateful day, he became the Boy Who Lived. No longer just a boy, Harry Potter is drawing ever closer to the task for which he has been preparing since the day he first stepped into Hogwarts: the ultimate battle with Voldemort.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 1 was released November 19th, 2010 and stars Bill Nighy, Emma Watson, Richard Griffiths, Harry Melling, Daniel Radcliffe, Julie Walters, Bonnie Wright, Rupert Grint. The film is directed by David Yates.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2 was released July 15th, 2011 and stars Ralph Fiennes, Michael Gambon, Alan Rickman, Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, Emma Watson, Evanna Lynch, Domhnall Gleeson. The film is directed by David Yates.

    I don't know, I enjoy The Mime's 3rd Person perspective. It's quite amusing.

Have to agree with The Mime (you should really stop talking in 3rd person though, that's creepy and arrogant lol). With the split, the final movie should have ALL the elements of the final book in it, since it has the time now to tell it all. The final battle is going to be enormous, I'm glad it gets its own movie to show it.

AAAWWWWEEEESSSSOOOMMME!!!!!!...this one cool stuff... Seen all the HP movies.. Read all the HP books... And to tell ya..I totally agreed to the split up.... when they announced it people went like "what?..wha..what?" But The Mime thinks it cool because instead of cramming all the goods stuff and leaving others out..this way they would be able to show all of them and ........this is just a very very very good story...

WOW. Had to watch that twice to take it all in. It's looking suitable epic for part one of the finale, and as usual for potter films the cinematography is looking beautiful. Only thing I wasn't too keen on was the warped camera effects they used a couple of times. But maybe in context, in won't bother me as much. Definitely looking forward to this one.

This is just fantastic. And I agree with those who like the darkness. The series goes darker and darker with each book. As the characters grow up, they're given more "grown-up" obstacles to overcome - one of the more brilliant aspects of the series. The reader advances with them. The films are no different, aside from maybe not including some key important parts. This looks to make up for that :P

This really looks awesome. They seem to have pulled all the elements together that made the seried great but I have to agree with Narzion, Yates' vision, while unique, did not have the wonder and magic of the earlier episodes. However, that is not to say that his movies were bad. They were just not as good but perhaps that is because of the tone shift in the novels as well. Whatever the case. I am there. I cant wait.

  18. Narzion

for me David Yates destroyed the magic of the series, it looks dark but it is not and this trailer will not fool me like last two did
