ThinkFilm Watches The TV Set

ThinkFilm has bought the rights to the comedy, The TV Set.

The film was written and directed by Jake Kasden about his experiences working in television on such shows as Freaks and Geeks; the film stars David Duchovny and Sigourney Weaver. The Hollywood Reporter says it chronicles the trials of an idealistic writer (Duchovny) who watches his dream TV project slowly dismantled by a barrage of industry executives, including a network president (Weaver) whose lineup features such breakout hits as 'Slut Wars.'

The TV Set will hit theaters in next spring.

The TV Set was released April 6th, 2007 and stars David Duchovny, Sigourney Weaver, Ioan Gruffudd, Judy Greer, Fran Kranz, Lindsay Sloane, Justine Bateman, Lucy Davis. The film is directed by Jake Kasdan.
