HBO's popular vampire series True Blood gets some new blood in the form of actors Theo Alexander and Ugly Betty's Grant Bowler. According to The Hollywood Reporter, both actors will become regular cast members during the third season of creator Alan Ball's thrilling adaptation of the Sookie Stackhouse (Anna Paquin) novels.

Alexander is set to play Talbot, Mississippi Vampire King Russell Edgington's (Denis O'Hare) "intensely beautiful" boyfriend. He is said to have an acerbic sense of humor and excellent culinary skills, despite Vampire's known lack of inherent talent in that department. Bowler will play the werewolf Coot, a menacing biker.

Season three is set to start filming this Wednesday in Los Angeles.
