Hidalgo: According to The Hollywood Reporter, Hidalgo looks to become nicely profitable for the Walt Disney Co. via Buena Vista Home Entertainment's release of the movie on DVD and VHS.

The Western action-adventure yarn starring Viggo Mortensen galloped to the top of Nielsen VideoScan's First Alert DVD and VHS sales charts, and landed at No. 5 on Video Store magazine's list of top rentals for the week ending Aug. 8. Meanwhile, the Jennifer Garner comedy 13 Going on 30 from Columbia TriStar Home Entertainment made $14.6 million in rentals for the week, which brought the role-reversal flick to the top of the chart.
