The WWE and Fox Atomic Tag Team for 12 Rounds

World Wrestling Entertainment and Fox Atomic have teamed up to make the action-packed feature 12 Rounds. According to Variety, Renny Harlin will direct the action picture that is set to star John Cena, Steve Harris, Aidan Gillen and Brian White.

12 Rounds centers on a New Orleans police detective (Cena) whose girlfriend is kidnapped. Daniel Kunka wrote the screenplay to the action-packed feature, which will be produced by Mark Gordon, Josh McLaughlin and WWE Films' Michael Lake.

Production for 12 Rounds is scheduled to begin February 25th on location in New Orleans.

12 Rounds was released March 27th, 2009 and stars John Cena, Aidan Gillen, Ashley Scott, Steve Harris, Brian J. White, Gonzalo Menendez, Taylor Cole, Kyle Russell Clements. The film is directed by Renny Harlin.

    oh god!!! this won't be good,, why not Stone Cold? he done a waaaaay better job in "The Condemned" than Cena did in "The Marine"!!
    and this director hasn't made any good movies! well "Deep Blue Sea" was ok, but part from that!!
