James Mangold confirms The Wolverine will be shot in multiple languages
Director James Mangold has become the latest filmmaker to join Twitter. He is currently in production on The Wolverine, and a few hours ago (7 A.M. Australia time), the he shared some insight into the production, confirming that this superhero follow-up will feature both English and Japanese portions of dialogue.

Take a look at what he had to say, along with a brief rundown of a scene between Logan (Hugh Jackman), Yukio (Rila Fukushima), and Shingen Yashida (Hiroyuki Sanada).

This confirms a report from last August, when the filmmaker said this will be a "foreign language superhero drama," since it will be shot in both Japan and Australia. We'll be keeping an eye on the filmmaker's Twitter account from now on, to see if any more intriguing tidbits are revealed while production continues.

The Wolverine comes to theaters July 26th, 2013 and stars Hugh Jackman, Famke Janssen, Will Yun Lee, Brian Tee, Svetlana Khodchenkova, Hiroyuki Sanada, Tao Okamoto, Rila Fukushima. The film is directed by James Mangold.

@andrew-thompson I think you need the total package... If the visuals look bad, people will not like the film as much or appreciate it as much as they would if they done them right... They should aim to make every aspect of the film as perfect as possible

@bawnian-dexeus...Thats true dude, the only time the claws looked realistic and kool was the 1st X-Men...they need to go back to using actual prop claws and only use VFX when they are coming out or retracting.

The scene in Origins when hes in the restroom looking at them in the mirror and clanging them against eachother, the claws looked horrible and waaaay to fake.
