Will Yun Lee (Total Recall, Red Dawn) and Brian Tee (Grimm) have signed on to play The Silver Samurai and Noburo Mori in The Wolverine.

Will Yun Lee will play the main villain, Kenuichio Harada, a.k.a. The Silver Samurai, the illegitimate son of a crime lord who uses an electrified samurai suit of armor. Brian Tee's Noboru Mori is the corrupt Minister of Justice who is about to marry the daughter of a Yakuza crime boss. The young woman is also the love interest of Hugh Jackman's title character.

James Mangold is directing from a screenplay by Christopher McQuarrie and Mark Bomback. Production is expected to start next month in Australia. We reported back in April that the sequel will shoot interior sound stage shots in Australia, and most exterior shots in Japan.

The Wolverine comes to theaters July 26th, 2013 and stars Hugh Jackman, Famke Janssen, Will Yun Lee, Brian Tee, Svetlana Khodchenkova, Hiroyuki Sanada, Tao Okamoto, Rila Fukushima. The film is directed by James Mangold.

  7. the Narrator

Agreed, but if they're looking for a younger Silver Samurai, Hiroyuki Sanada would be excellent as well. Just look at him in Danny Boyle's "Sunshine".
