Twilight Zone eyes Sherlock Holmes writer Anthony Peckham
Warner Bros. and Appian Way are in final talks with writer Anthony Peckham to rewrite Jason Rothenberg's original screenplay for The Twilight Zone.

The 1983 feature film centered four horror/sci-fi segments directed by four famous directors which are their own versions of classic stories from Rod Serling's television series. This film will not take that direction, but will have one story with elements from the The Twilight Zone universe.

Matt Reeves is set to direct, with Leonardo DiCaprio, Jennifer Davisson Killoran, and Michael Ireland to produce.

Production is expected to begin in the summer of 2012.

The Twilight Zone is in development . The film is directed by Matt Reeves.

    this is shaping up to be very cool. I love the TZ tv series and watch the marathons when i can and the original movie is great, flaws and all. I have high hopes for this. They just better damn well make sure they have the theme music!

    Very cool! I wonder if Leonardo DiCaprio is interested in taking a role in this, especially since he has had a hand in this from a producing standpoint since the beginning.

    That would make this all the better. I already think this is going to be one of the best "thriller", so to speak, of the next few years......Matt Reeves has really proven to be a great director over the past few years. He's going to absolutely nail this!
