The Twilight Saga: Eclipse takes in $30 million from midnight screenings
The film broke the record set by last year's The Twilight Saga: New Moon, which took in $26.3 million during midnight screenings. The previous record before that was held by Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, which took in a then-record $22.2 million over its midnight frame. We reported yesterday that the film broke the record for widest release, opening in 4,416 theaters and it was said that over 4,000 of those theaters featured midnight screenings.

The Twilight Saga: Eclipse was released June 30th, 2010 and stars Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner, Billy Burke, Ashley Greene, Jackson Rathbone, Nikki Reed, Kellan Lutz. The film is directed by David Slade.

I still haven't read a review of this movie; and I am still not going to waste money on this stupid Saga to see it in the theaters weather there good reviews or bad. I will wait and spend a dollar at the red box; and good or bad that is still to much money for this movie.

Whats really upsetting me is that The last Airbender is coming out the same week and we all know its going to be Number 2 at the box office, i really wanted M.Night to have a number 1 with this,cause the movie looks to be an epic, instead (in words of my fellow moviewebber -Geekstar)where going to watch pathetice lil girl confused and torn between a arrogant werewolf and a child molesting vampire!!

The Narrator: The Better Man
God, for better or worse (probably the latter) Twilight has become a part of pop culture and won't go away any time soon. We know whats entertaining, whats cheesy, and whats horrible and are free to judge on those standards. Should we scream inside about how much this series sucks Werewolf balls? No.

moving on. and so begins the cycle, harry potter deathly hollows part 1 will out do eclipse, breaking dawn that, and part 2 that. its a cycle thats it. as for the movie itself, my brother saw it last night w his girl against his own wishes and said it was much better then he ever would want to give it credit for. im not a twilight fan but im interested in the action and darkness in this movie.

This is just a fad...just like Harry Potter once was, it will be forgotten in 10 years and some other crap film will come and take its place, the actors wont do anything outside these movies...I mean Pattinson came out in 2 other movies and like pff they came and wend and died instantly....are these films dumb and filled with bad dialog, yes, but it is what it is.....
