Breaking Dawn will tone down sex and violence for PG-13
While recently promoting Water for Elephants, Robert Pattinson confirmed that he had shot the scene mentioned above, and that it was as gruesome and gnarly as most imaged while reading the book. He assured fans that director Bill Condon was staying slavishly close to the source material, and this would not be a white wash of Stephenie Meyer sexually deviant prose. Which, if true, would solidify a solid R rating for both The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1 and The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2.
Today, a Rep for Summit Entertainment, home of the Twilight saga, has come forward to clarify Robert Pattinson's statements. Neither movie is going to be restricted to an audience of 18 years or older.
"Breaking Dawn will be a PG-13. It will not be rated R.""
So, when these two back-to-back sequels arrive in theaters, they will be neutered from an artistic standpoint, but it makes sense. It's a series aimed at young girls. Nothing to get hung up about. Strawberry Fields forever, and all that shit. But the real question begging to be answered is: Will older fans get to see the complete, uncut The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1 and The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2 when this series comes to a close on Blu-ray and DVD? Twilight has just as many adult fans as it does teenagers, and those teenagers are going to grow up quick.
Let's hope Bill Condon reedits this truly weird, sexual experience back into its true form at some point down the line. Its what the fans really want, and it would make a killing on the home video circuit. I am guessing they will save the Uncut Saga for that defining moment when it looks like no more money can be drained from this franchise.
The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1 was released November 18th, 2011 and stars Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner, Ashley Greene, Billy Burke, Anna Kendrick, Nikki Reed, Jackson Rathbone. The film is directed by Bill Condon.

This is B.S just like it says above,there are just as many ADULT fans as there are teens for 1 and for 2 these teens read the books so wtf is the difference?? i think its fcked to down size certain parts of the book for teens!! This movie should definitely be rated R for sure and if a teen cant get in than bring some 1 who can go with them or buy there tickets!! but to down size the book on screen is B.S to the adult fans because half the sceens there talking about are most of the scenes that ALOT of us have been waiting for to see played out on screen,we have read all the books and been watching them played out on screen for years now and to get to the ending and get ripped off on how it gets played out is just ridiculous but guess its too late now...This movie should have been done as graphic as the book and if that ment being rated R than it should of been rated R

Thats bull I hope they do bring out a rated r on the dvd because thats the whole point of the movie is all the scenes they are editing it makes the book I will be seriously disappointed if they only show the edited version of this I have been waiting and waiting there has to be something us adults can do.

Good Lord!!!! The majority of the people who are going to see this movie have already read the book anyway!!!!! What the hell is going on!!! I personally found the book rather tame, and was hoping that the movie would be somewhat more believable. If they cut the vital parts from the movie, people are just going to be turned off and not go to the theater. And if its tru theyve cut they cut the Jacob Renesme part out Whats left??? Thats the whole point of Bella and Jacobs relationship. And its not Pedophilia who ever wrote that, sad person.

The Finalle is almost here and it is very sad to all, allthrough Breaking Dawn is a 2 part movie it will be rated PG-13 due to the fact that summit wants to keep it that way so that the high schoolers can watch it with or with out their parents .

Relax people!! Just let the movie be the movie. Who cares if its PG 13...have you SEEN come of the PG 13 movies lately????! Hello----half of those should be Rated R!! So just freakin relax. Condon does not need to "tone down" anything!! It needs to be raw and awesome and fabulous just like the book!! (**They should make two versions if people feel like getting their panties in a wod about it. One rated PG13 and one rated R. There...problem solved!)
