Summit Entertainment is suing those who leaked The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn photos
The lawsuit was filed against 10 "John Does," so the studio could issue subpoenas to determine the identities of those who leaked the photos. The photos were distributed via anonymous Twitter users, which spread to various online websites. Here's the original statement released by Summit Entertainment, author Stephenie Meyer, director Bill Condon, and producer Wyck Godfrey on April 1.
"As some of you may know, pictures and screen grabs of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn as a work in progress have leaked on the internet. We are extremely proud of this film and also extremely heartbroken to see it out there at this stage.
The film and these images are not yet ready or in their proper context. They were illegally obtained and their early dissemination is deeply upsetting to the actors, the filmmakers and Summit who are working so hard to bring these movies to fruition to you in November 2011 and November 2012.
Please, for those who are posting, stop. And please, though the temptation is high, don't view or pass on these images. Wait for the film in its beautiful, finished entirety to thrill you.
Sincerely,
Stephenie Meyer, Bill Condon, Wyck Godfrey, and Summit Entertainment"

Like we need another reason to hate these whiny emo jerk offs and their poorly written drivel, now they've got lawsuits going out over pictures! Who gives a rats ass!!! The book has been out forever now anyway, its not like there's spoilers. Stephenie Mayer and the rest of these clowns need to die in a sparkly fire or at the very least lobotomized to prevent this crap from continuing. Your writing sucks balls and all the morons that actually enjoy it are now pissed im sure, that you had the audacity to sue your own f*cking fans over images of some dogs and horny emo vamp wanna-bes humping a whiny girl with no t*ts... oh and Steph, lose some weight, get a boyfriend and stop writing fantasies about teenage boys you filthy pirate hooker.....

Okay, as much as I hate Twilight, I think this is just a plain slap in the face for fans. That's just sorry on the producers' part. They should embrace fan involvement, just like every studio and filmmaker should. Take Pixar for example: they've actually rewarded and congratulated people who make stuff on youtube about them. They embrace the fandom and benefit from it!

So much for loving the fans, something that Hollywood is forgetting more and more about every sodding day!

Vampires turn to dust in sunlight. If I adapted this one day, I would make sure that Edward would be a true vampire and not some dust bunny.

Move along people, move along.
If Summit wants to whine and stamp their feet over something gay and stupid just let them. But suing fans for pictures 'GROW THE F*CK UP'. Little girly birds think Twilight is that great, go f*ck your self.

As if they don't make enough money off these movies to begin with. I don't even like these movies but I read the story to see how ridiculous it was. And it didn't disappoint. Who cares if some images were leaked. It happens all the damn time. Its just free advertising. If you dumb asses got off your ass and put out some promotion images, people wouldn't result into leaking photos. It amazes me how dumb these people are getting.

It's called FREE F*CKIN' ADVERTISMENT you dumb sh*ts (producers). 90% of the Twilight fanbase will be ecstatic after seeing these leaked images. But no, you want to SUE the FANS who will be SEEING this MOVIE, and BUYING it in the future. F*ck, either these producer are really stupid or greedy *ssholes. I'm going with BOTH.
Sh*t, I don't even like the Twilight movies, but what their doing to their fans is f*cking stupid.

who gives a sh*t! that's what the fans want! let them see the 'leaked' photos (which I've never seen on the internet) it cools them down for a while. No one wants to see Twilight deprived teenaged girls, that's worse than sex-starved Ewoks (don't ask lmao)

WAH WAH WAH, id think the photos from the movie getting released is free advertisement for the film, but nooo Summit has to make the film seem like its so secretive as if its the gonna be the greatest movie of all time, u see all these photos being released for Thor, Harry Potter, etc. and we appreciate that from the studios or whoever releases them, but when u start to complain that photos being released is " heartbreaking " and is gonna " ruin the beauty of the film " and is " upsetting the actors "...u are seriously sad and pathetic thinking its gonna ruin it for the brainwashed people who are gonna go see the film either way, so stop crying Summit, Meyer, production team and the so called " actors " in this film, be glad u got jobs u over paid brats....
...Whew, i may have vented to much on that one LOL

OMG. How oblivious can these producers be? Are they seriously THAT briskly unaware at how pathetic this move seems? To sue them? It's a few f*cking photos retards! That can only spur interest for your film! But NO, you gotta go sue someone's ass. I mean it's not like they stole the script and leaked it online, which as I think on it, would be just as pathetic given all those who'll see the film have read the books already.

this film is hardly worth the effort. Please Guillermo del Toro, turn your Strain Trilogy into a film so we can get real, authentic vampires with a good story on screen. Enough of these disco ball vampires and goofy soap opera plots.
