The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2 takes home seven Razzie Awards
Results were announced in a comedic press conference, which parodied the format and attitude of Tinsel Town's other 357 award ceremonies. The proceedings were conducted in alarming proximity to where Sunday night will see that other award show unfold: The venue for this year's Golden Raspberry bash-fest was The Continental Breakfast Room of the Holiday Inn Express Hollywood Walk of Fame hotel, less than half-a-mile from the Dolby Theatre, home of the 85th Annual Giving Out of the Little Gold Naked Men.
Nominees and "winners" for 9 of this year's 10 Razzie categories were determined by ballots e-mailed to 657 Voting Members throughout 47 U.S. states and 19 foreign countries. For the 10th category, Worst Remake/Rip-Off or Sequel, both nominees and "winners" were decided by conducting a poll at RottenTomatoes.com, in which nearly 70,000 votes were cast.
The Razzies were created in 1980 as a logical antidote to Tinsel Town's annual glut of self- congratulatory awards by John Wilson, author of The Office Razzie Movie Awards Guide and Everything I Know I Learned at the Movies. @bawnian-dexeus -- The fact that I would question it shows that I'm not familiar with the way the Razzies work.

@XxNickTheFilmCriticXx He dressed up as a woman and played the character. That is the joke. The Razzies aren't know for their logic

I am proud to say that I have never seen any Twitlite movies and never plan on it. If I ever do, I will turn in my man card and step out in front of a bus.

I guess all of us Twitlite haters are finally vindicated. To Hell with Vampire romance chick flick movies! That's the one part I hated about Bram Stokers' Dracula. That, and the graduitous sex. I wanted a strait up horror. Don't get me wrong. Sex is great, but it just seems to much up horror movies.
@supermanvenom, "I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry" was pretty funny. And Jessica Biel's ass was waaaaay worth the watch! But yeah, Adam Sandler really needs to step up his game.

The Cryptkeeper: Resurrected
I have only seen the first Twilight... But judging by the quality of that film, Battleship should have won. Then Breaking Dawn 2 be the runner up. But hey, I didn't see it.

I said this on RottenTomatoes seeing this list, 'You're seriously telling me that 'A Thousand Words' got 0% on RottenTomatoes even though 'Breaking Dawn: Part 2' got 46%? Even the Spill Crew said why was 'A Thousand Words' even made?' they gave 'Breaking Dawn: Part 2' a pass

Ok I'll be first to say I'm not a fan of Twilight, like at all, the last one wasn't anything great but it certainly wasn't worst picture worthy. To me That's My Boy and A Thousand Words are much more worthy for a worst picture win. Also considering that the 4th Twilight, which though all are not that great, was worst than the last one and it didn't win worst picture, that makes me think this doesn't make even more sense

Adam Sandler needs to stop making movies. Guy hasn't had a funny movie since Happy Gilmore

These are always more indicative of the reality than its opposite number. I agree with every single nomination and "win."

I'm not going to lie, I don't think Twilight deserved ALL of those awards. Coming from someone like me, someone who despises Twilight, I'll admit I was a little intrigued with the final battle. That's My Boy was downright awful! I've never walked out of a film before, but that one made a first. Absolutely dreadful. By far the worst film of 2012.
