The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn delayed by cast salary disputes
While they have officially signed a director and set release date it seems there is a bit of a hold-up on Summit Entertainment announcing the final installment in its popular vampire film series will indeed be split into two films. THR Esquire is reporting that Summit is holding off on announcing that The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn will be a two-part film because some of the supporting cast's deals are not in place.

The site made it clear that the main franchise stars - Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner - are finalizing their deals with the studio now, but it seems that supporting cast members such as Ashley Greene and Kellan Lutz, are angling for big-money deals for the final installment.

"We may have a situation where one of them is thrown out on the street to make a point," said one of the site's sources.

Summit had done just that before the latest upcoming film in the series, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, with actress Rachelle Lefevre, who was let go when she demanded a bigger pay increase. Bryce Dallas Howard takes her place in The Twilight Saga: Eclipse.

The site also reported that the studio's offers to the actors were said to be 10 times higher than their salaries on the first film and the offers were deemed "offensive" by the talent, due to all the money the franchise has made.

The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1 was released November 18th, 2011 and stars Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner, Ashley Greene, Billy Burke, Anna Kendrick, Nikki Reed, Jackson Rathbone. The film is directed by Bill Condon.

Most actors need a price cut now so any film can be better in the long run. Keither Sutherland knows there is more chances being on TV will make you more money in the long run, each time an episode is repeated an x amount of money is given to them. That and loving what they do.

In this case most teen actors only want to be famous, there is more to life than being Famous.

Their salaries have to be comparable to other actors/actresses regardless of the movie. Ashley Greene isnt going to make what any higher class actress gets. R U KIDDING ME! These people need to grow up. They are complaining they need more money but hey be happy you have a job! LOSERS!
