The Tree of Life Featurette with David Fincher and Christopher Nolan

The Tree of Life is currently playing in theaters nationwide, the latest drama from director Terrence Malick. A new featurette has been unveiled, which features directors David Fincher and Christopher Nolan discussing the movie, and the influence Terrence Malick has had on their own work. The Tree of Life was released May 27th, 2011 and stars Brad Pitt, Sean Penn, Jessica Chastain, Hunter McCracken, Laramie Eppler, Tye Sheridan, Fiona Shaw, Jessica Fuselier. The film is directed by Terrence Malick.

    Ironically, I dont feel as strongly for Terrence Malick. I'm not ripping on the guy, he's decent at what he does......but he's no Nolan or Fincher, thats for sure.

    No one is questioning Malick's visuals. I think all they're saying is that he's great at what he does. And I think everyone pretty much concedes to that point.

    Now I want to see this movie even more. Nolan and Fincher are my two out of my top three favorite filmmakers, so if they are heaping praise on this film then i will definately check it out.
