The new three stooges movie was done very well. It was the funniest comedy I have seen in a long time and I laughed so hard throughout the whole movie. Never a dull moment. I am impressed at how much the movie depicted the original characters. This movie you can watch over and over and still see something funny you may have missed the first time around watching, even the second or third time watching. I cannot wait until the three stooges does a sequel. Great job to the actors, producers and crew!!!

I used to watch the Three Stooges all the time when I was very young. This is going to be trip down memory lane and at the same time make a lot of new memories....definitely have to introduce my son to the Three Stooges.

They capture the spirit of the Stooges surprisingly well, but my main thought while watching this is that the Three Stooges lowbrow humour just won't work on today's audiences. Like so many "classic" shows that by today's standards are pretty terrible (e.g., Gilligan's Island), this just doesn't seem like something that needed reviving.

I did chuckle when Snooki came on, though.

@thedude1 100% agree. Was real worried. But anyone who loves the Stooges, this film would be a good one to watch. I have to admitte. I laughed all through it. Sean Hayes has Larry down to a T. Will Sasso is real close to Curly. Chris, acts like Moe really good, but dose not really look like him at all. But I have now higher hopes for this film.

@XxNickTheFilmCriticXx Its more possible that I'll hate this than liking it. It could turn out to be complete sh*t. The lobster thing was funny so if the movie is filled with that sort of humor I'll kick back and enjoy it.

@corey -- I don't know, Corey. I haven't seen any of those, so your opinion is more valid than mine at this given moment, but this will probably be a guilty-pleasure at best. We'll ultimately have to wait for the release date - but from what I've seen - I really, really do not see how this will anything close to average.

@XxNickTheFilmCriticXx I wouldn't jump to a conclusion just yet. Look at Scream 4, Soul Surfer, Dolphin Tale, and many others that everyone pretty much bashed. They all turned out good, actually pretty great. Except Scream 4, that was just alright. Not terrible though! The Three Stooges will be a fun family-flick. The Farrelly's have been dreaming about this since the year I was born.

@corey -- Ha ha, I appreciate the outrageous spirit of the movie, but the execution is terrible. This movie will be one of the worst movies of 2012 - no doubt.

I am a huge fan of the Three Stooges and I am very worried about this movie. But after seeing the trailer some of that worry is gone. I think just by what we got in the trailer it is going to be a solid movie.

    *face palm*

What's sad is that these guys do Curly, Moe, and Larry very well; honest to god, this looks like a piece of sh*t with so much potential... given that I'm a hardcore Three Stooges fan. :(

Why couldn't they just of have this a period piece or-....? You know what, a Three Stooges movie is just a bad idea for a movie; it should be on tv and only in black and white.. They pulled it off because of the time era and it was brilliant. Them in modern society of today is just stupid. Thanks a lot. This has been added to my ruined childhood memories of Transformers, Yogi Bear, Alvin and the Chipmunks, Smurfs, and soon to be Hong Kong Phooey.
