There has never been a faithful adaptation of this story on-screen as of yet. However, this sounds like it is sticking to the story, although I've never found Richlieu to be evil, just manipulative(there's a huge difference). With such a long way to go until the product is finished, I will give it the benefit of the doubt, for now.

Seriously...Paul W.S. Anderson's next project is this? I can hardly contain my sarcastic glee...I thought he died trying to think up an original script, and that they found him at his computer hunched over, a gun in one hand, Snikers bar in the other. Apparently thinking up new material takes more then a moment, and grabing a Snikers didn't help at all...upon realizing he was a talentless douch he decided to pull the trigger. F*cken Snikers...flagrant false advertising indeed.
But yeah...reality is much better, he didn't die...and now we get another Musketeer movie that is sure to be sh*ttier then Charlie Sheen in a Disney flick.

Ummmm....WHY????
I guess they had to spend the money to stimulate the economy.
Don't see any other reason why they would make this film.

To me, this kid looks like a young Christian Slater... However, Slater could act when he was younger.
