Director Sam Raimi's Recipe for Fake Blood, via Movie Miscellany
We doubt that you needed another reason to love actor Bruce Campbell, but now we have another reason. In his autobiography, If Chins Could Kill: Confessions of a B-Movie Actor, Campbell revealed the recipe that director Sam Raimi used to make fake blood in the cult classic film The Evil Dead. Take a look at the instructions below and revel in all the fake gore of a movie set in your own home!

The funniest thing to me is the last part of the instructions, where you have to take a shower, fully clothed, for 30 minutes. I guess that's how they probably did laundry on The Evil Dead as well... Anyway, now future amateur filmmakers can forgo the ketchup packets and make fake blood like the pros. I'm not sure if that's a good or a bad thing...
Scott Pilgrim Vs. the World's Michael Cera and Jason Schwartzman Do the Weather in Atlanta - via Vulture
Edgar Wright's new film Scott Pilgrim Vs. the World hit theaters this weekend and two of the films stars took their improv talents to Atlanta... to do the local weather. Michael Cera and Jason Schwartzman headed down to Atlanta's Fox 5 News for an entertaining bit where they try to do the weather forecast, but they spend most of the time being fascinated by an animated bus trying to run them over. Take a look at the two and a half minute video below.
The Social Network Twitter-Themed Spoof - via Indy Mogul
Ever since the trailer The Social Network hit the interwebs a few months ago, the next rational step was that there would be eons of parody videos. The online comedy troupe Indy Mogul has produced probably the best one to date, a trailer for The Twit Network, which hilariously delves into the mystique of Twitter. They even made their own version of the bizarre-teen-choir version of the Radiohead song Creep that you hear in The Social Network. Take a look at this side-splitting video below... and don't forget to tweet about it...
First Clip From the New Animated Series... The Justin Bieber Show - via The Daily Wh.at
I'm scared. I'm very very scared. There's no way this can actually be real, but, on the other hand, why would animator Harry Partridge even waste his time with this? It's pretty disturbing, in its own weird way, and if anything actually becomes out of this animated short, I might have to hurt someone. Click below to take a look at the antidote for Bieber Fever.
The 7 Movies Dudes Should Pretend to Like to Impress Women - via Guyism
You've gotta love a story that involves a girl helping guys get girls by pretending to like movies. It's actually only five movies (The Lost Boys, The Brothers Mcmullen, The Princess Bride, Marley & Me and True Romance) a TV show (Batman) and the last one is the "wild card." Basically, you ask the girl what the last movie she saw was and you ask if she liked it. If she liked it, you liked it, even if you haven't seen it. Guys lying to girls to impress women? It sounds like such a novel concept, but it sounds just crazy enough to work...

Yeah, @err2005, that list kinda surprised me as well, especially since a woman wrote the article.

Err
ALSO the list of movies you should pretend to like to get females to like you should include "amelie", "moulin rouge" and "velvet goldmine" because all girls love those movies, and all straight guys... not so much.

Err
"Guys lying to girls to impress women?" a guy in israel ( i think ) went to jail for this after being a arrested for "rape by deception" because the girl slept with him after he pretended to be jewish to get her clothes to fall off.

anyway i really do like the princess bride and true romance, but the only females i know who have even heard of "true romance" heard about it from me, so that one perhaps shouldn't be on the list.
