The Stepfather Brings the Family Together on DVD and Blu-ray on February 9th
You can bring a new brand of family drama to your home on DVD and Blu-ray this coming February. The Stepfather will be released on DVD and Blu-ray on February 9, 2010. The standard DVD will be priced at $28.96 SRP and the Blu-ray will be priced at $39.95 SRP. We don't have any cover art images as of yet, but we'll be sure to update this story as soon as we have the images. The film stars Dylan Walsh, Penn Badgley, Sela Ward and Amber Heard.
When Michael Harding (Penn Badgley) returns home from military school, he finds his mom is madly in love with her charming live-in boyfriend David (Dylan Walsh). At first, David appears to be the ultimate nice guy and an ideal future husband and stepfather. But when Michael and his girlfriend (Amber Heard) start delving into David's past, they begin to discover a dark and dangerous side to Michael's new "daddy" in this riveting, chilling thriller.

For a remake it stunk!!! I saw this at the cheap theater ...man it felt like I was watching a made for TV movie ... I love and grw up W./the "Orginial"...& nothing compares!
