The first trailer for Pedro Almodóvar's The Skin I Live In has arrived, which features Antonio Banderas as a plastic surgeon set on creating a new synthetic skin. Check out the latest footage below.
The Skin I Live In was released October 14th, 2011 and stars Antonio Banderas, Elena Anaya, Blanca Suárez, Jan Cornet, Marisa Paredes, Bárbara Lennie, Fernando Cayo, Eduard Fernández. The film is directed by Pedro Almodóvar.

I found the trailer unintentionally funny, and it barely escaped becoming a red-band trailer.

@jayaottley You're right, I haven't seen any of his films. But still, like @incmob said, the trailer didn't attract me to the film, even though I'm an Antonio Banderas fan.

@jayaottley well i can respect your opinion of it... you have seen the film, i have not... but for me personally a trailer is made for promotion and to appeal to the audience and attract them to the film, and didnt quite do that for me. maybe you saw it before you saw the trailer, but it looks way to artsy without any substance. i could be wrong but gonna pass on this one.

This was my first taste of Almodovar, and despite the trailer didn't look appealing,i know. But his film sold-out in the theatre i was in, also take into account this a Spanish flick with english subs and alas this is Banderas fav director
