An Irish-themed episode of The Simpsons will premiere Tuesday in Ireland and the U.K. This marks the first time the show has ever premiered an episode outside of the U.S., according to Variety.

The Simpsons exec producers James L. Brooks and Al Jean, as well as the voice of Bart, Nancy Cartwright, will be in Dublin to show the episode, which revolves around Homer and his dad as they travel to Ireland and open a pub.

The St. Patrick's Day-themed event is just part of the yearlong, News Corp.-wide 20th-anni celebration for The Simpsons.

Stateside, Fox is dispatching people dressed as Marge Simpson to bars in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Boston and San Francisco. "Marge" will pass out codes for "Simpsons" cell phone wallpaper and ringtones.

Also in New York, a clip from next Sunday's episode will run all day on the Astrovision screen in Times Square and will feature a toll-free number for viewers to hear what's being played on the screen.

"We're coordinating between divisions around the world," said Fox marketing topper Joe Earley. "We all know Homer likes beer, so it seemed like the right holiday for us."

The Ireland episode, titled "In the Name of the Grandfather," airs in the U.S. on Sunday.
