Jeffrey Dean Morgan joins The Rut
Described as a cross between Winter's Bone and Sean Penn's Into the Wild, the story follows a young girl who sets out into the wild by herself to hunt deer, hoping to win the approval of her father.
Written by Kevin Caruso, The Rut is set to start shooting this October. No release date has been set at this time.
The Rut comes to theaters in 2013 and stars Chloe Moretz, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Ray Liotta. The film is directed by Karyn Kusama.
