A biopic on Joan Jett's influential band will be hitting theaters in just a few months. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Floria Sigismondi's film The Runaways will receive a theatrical release on March 19.

The film will make its world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival on January 24 and distributor Apparition plans to roll the film out in 1,400 theaters nationwide on March 19. The film is a biopic on the influential all-female group formed by Joan Jett and Lita Ford.

The Runaways stars Kristen Stewart, Dakota Fanning, Scout Taylor-Compton, Stella Maeve, Alessandra Torresani, Hannah Marks and Brett Cullen.
