A love triangle forms between the legendary do-gooder Robin Hood, his Maid Marian and the archer's arch nemesis, the Sheriff of Nottingham. Crowe stars as the Sheriff of Nottingham in a scenario that sees him more noble lawman than an evil king's right-hand man and facing off with a more shadier Robin Hood in the Sherwood Forest.

Robin Hood stars Russell Crowe, Cate Blanchett, William Hurt, Matthew Macfadyen, Mark Strong, Oscar Isaac, Lea Seydoux, Scott Grimes, Kevin Durand, Alan Doyle, Danny Huston and Max von Sydow.
It shoots into theaters May 14 from Universal Pictures.
Robin Hood was released May 14th, 2010 and stars Russell Crowe, Cate Blanchett, Max von Sydow, William Hurt, Mark Strong, Oscar Isaac, Danny Huston, Eileen Atkins. The film is directed by Ridley Scott.

looks good... but Movieweb please! Your synopsis underneath is years old & wrong! Yes, that was going to be the original premise (Sheriff of Nottingham GOOD - Robin Hood BAD) but that got kicked in the can very early in the piece. To gandoff2169 don't stress! Ridley Scott & Russell Crowe stuck with the traditional version of Robin Hood, though by the looks of the trailer, have made it much, much more epic! Should be good!

Looks realy good. But not a fan of the idea of Robin Hood being the real villian, and the sheriif a good guy. Another attempt to change a classic story. I was all in for it, but now, Not for sure..

i am stoked about this. i love the robin hood story and hope this movie is as good as i am expecting it to be. i just hope it doesn't have an Obama understory (since, after all, this fable is the foundation of the democrats - steal from the rich, give to the poor).
