the french poet Baudelaire said it best: "the best tricked the devil ever pulled was convincing the world he doesn't exist." the absolute destruction of the supernatural in the mind of people is his best weapon. his hope is that we trust only science, logic, and reasoning (not that these are evil b/c God gave them all to us to know Him and the world He made better); if we do, then we believe there must be a logical explanation for everything. the supernatural is just that: ABOVE NATURE. it defies explanation and reasoning.
i hope this movie gets it right and doesn't blow it with naturalism.

It really makes it more interesting to see these Exorcism films to explore more on what impact it does not just for a specific family, town or country! This is just like Outcourcing, exploring and expanding to survive for any other company, which is good for the statement above says even the devil can reach the holiest of places... and we will need all the help we can get!

nah i dont need gore to better a movie, i just hope that the storyboard is worth it.. This feels more like a doc*mentary, than an actual movie. Im sure it will b good but like you mentioned it prob wont be for everybody's taste.

@JasonKat Do you really need killing and gore in a movie like this? It looks like it explores the darker side of being a Catholic priest, the other aspects of the job description, and how they handle it. It prob won't be for the superficial crowds. Which is fine with me.

looks like "end of days" and the omen., doesnt look scary. theres more talkin than killing, gore, or action. not sold into it.

As much as I think a body being possessed is utter bull, I'll watch this simply because it has anthony and looks somewhat entertaining.

this one kind of reminds me of THE LAST EXORCISM. with the priest going to the country to exorcise a girl that may be possessed or may need 'psychiatric treatment' because shes faking it, etc etc.
that movie sucked. this one actually looks pretty good though. the trailer actually gave me chills. and it looks like a serious movie. not filmed in that 'blair witch' crap camera style.
i may go see this

Although, it may turn out like Heath Ledger's The Order, and be almost immediately forgotten.

You know, I've grown a bit tired of the whole exorcism type movies, but this one has my interest.
