Alice Braga joins The Rite
The cast of the film already includes stars Anthony Hopkins and Colin O'Donoghue for director Hafstrom (1408). The film will be based off a true story of an American who heads to the exorcism school at the Vatican and regains his faith through his encounters with demons.
Hafstrom will be directing from a script by Beau Flynn, based off the book by Michael Petroni. No production schedule was given for the film.
The Rite was released January 28th, 2011 and stars Anthony Hopkins, Colin O'Donoghue, Alice Braga, Ciarán Hinds, Toby Jones, Rutger Hauer, Marta Gastini, Maria Grazia Cucinotta. The film is directed by Mikael Håfström.
