Lions Gate's September 7th release of The Punisher will be released with a limited edition comic book-style "chase cover." These discs will be limited to 10,000 copies and will be distributed randomly at retail. On a brighter note, all of the Punisher discs will come packaged with a 28-page prequel comic, written by Garth Ennis and illustrated by Tim Bradsheet, pointing the way to the first scene in the film.
The Punisher was released April 16th, 2004 and stars A. Russell Andrews, Omar Avila, James Carpinello, Mark Collie, Russell Durham Comegys, Antoni Corone, Rick Elmhurst, Ben Foster. The film is directed by Jonathan Hensleigh.
