The film follows a young girl that purchases an antique box at a yard sale that is haunted by an ancient spirit. The girl becomes cursed by the mysterious box and her parents team up to find a way to release her from the terrifying spirit.
The Possession was released August 31st, 2012 and stars Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Natasha Calis, Kyra Sedgwick, Jay Brazeau, Madison Davenport, Matisyahu, Grant Show, Rob LaBelle. The film is directed by Ole Bornedal.
