'The Place Beyond the Pines' Poster

Following the first trailer that debuted last week, Focus Features has unveiled a new poster for The Place Beyond the Pines. Ryan Gosling reunites with his Blue Valentine director Derek Cianfrance, portraying Luke, a motorcycle racer who decides to become a criminal so he can put food on the table for his newborn baby. He sparks a chain of events that put him in the crosshairs of Avery (Bradley Cooper), the local lawman who will stop at nothing to put Luke away for good. Check out this new one-sheet that foreshadows an epic showdown.

The Place Beyond the Pines was released March 29th, 2013 and stars Ryan Gosling, Eva Mendes, Bradley Cooper, Rose Byrne, Ray Liotta, Dane DeHaan, Bruce Greenwood, Olga Merediz. The film is directed by Derek Cianfrance.

    Not my type of poster. Even an aerial snapshot of a pine forest with the same (but smaller) lettering would have been preferred. That being said, this film looks to be an intense and emotional ride that I'm willing to take.
