In the highly anticipated new installment of "The Terminator" film franchise, set in post-apocalyptic 2018, Christian Bale stars as John Connor, the man fated to lead the human resistance against Skynet and its army of Terminators. But the future Connor was raised to believe in is altered in part by the appearance of Marcus Wright (Sam Worthington), a stranger whose last memory is of being on death row. Connor must decide whether Marcus has been sent from the future, or rescued from the past. As Skynet prepares its final onslaught, Connor and Marcus both embark on an odyssey that takes them into the heart of Skynet's operations, where they uncover the terrible secret behind the possible annihilation of mankind.

Terminator Salvation is in theaters May 22nd, 2009.

Terminator Salvation was released May 21st, 2009 and stars Christian Bale, Sam Worthington, Moon Bloodgood, Helena Bonham Carter, Anton Yelchin, Jadagrace, Bryce Dallas Howard, Common. The film is directed by McG.

    Actually, i do see that it is sam worthington.....but at the same time, they wouldn't have put them face to face like that if there wasn't more too it.......Conor made it real personal...this is my PREDICTION....i think that sam's terminator is carrying something (like the personality or characteristics) of arnold's terminator that is needed to make the T101(arnolds terminator). They say that there is a surprise with Sam...but we all already know that he is a terminator even tho he is hanging out with the resistance, so that's not it....If you watch the domestic trailer...Sam's accent is similar to Arnold's..also...if Conor was talking to the terminators as a whole...he would of mentioned how they TRIED to kill him too...but that's not the case...because the T1000 tried to kill him....so he had to be talking to Sam because some how he is the terminator that goes back to try to kill Sarah. They also say that this movie will revolve around the making of the T101

    Just because he is saying "you killed my father" to Sam Worthington's Terminator, doesn't mean it's Arnold's Terminator from the first film. He just means Terminators as a whole. Ya know, there's the "universal you" where you(there it is) aren't necessarily speaking to a certain person, just anyone who it relates to. That's what it means here...it's the "universal Terminator." A Terminator killed his father, so he's gonna kick the robotic ass of ANY Terminator that comes his way

    FALLEN..i know that sam is playing a terminator...but arnold's terminator is in it too..he is being cgi'd....but the guy in the clip where connor says" you tried to kill my mother, you killed my father, but you won't kill me" he's talking to arnolds terminator and the guy doesn't look like him....watch it again..

    Mc G has yet to make a good movie, that's my only hesitation. Looks like he's been hanging out with Michael Bay though. On an up note, the new Common album is really good, maybe he performs Universal Mind Control in the movie...fitting title of a song for the movie.

    killerman200 is right, it is a terminator that gets crushed by what looks like one of the mototerminators(terminator motorcycle). pause the video at 1:38 and you can see the "person" looks like the T-600 holding a mini-gun.

    Uhm, I don't remember what split second in the trailer it was, but near the end, I see either Bale, or Worthington, gets squashed by a huge piece of metal. Look closely near the end. Maybe it was Common but it was one of them.

    People judge by what they see. Right now, this is looking awesome. They aren't "betrayers" idiot, they're just fans who might be disappointed. I don't think I'll be disappointed, because right now this is looking great and I don't know how it can be aweful. And to be clear, every movie, no matter how good, has things to criticize

    Also, I want to add something for all the naysayers: if you're mad about this movie, get over it. If you're angry Arnold isn't in it, his face is being CGIed onto another body, so get over it. I know it's not "the same" but you need to get it through your heads that the Terminator franshise was never JUST about Arny, there was a whole universe and the first trilogy was only leading up to this. The sooner you can accept that, the sooner you can sit back and realax, and enjoy. If you're not excited after seeing that trailer, then you have problems. I understand that if you only liked the series BECAUSE Arny was in it, because you're a fan of him or something, then you're prob. not anticipating this, but don't act like this will suck because Arny isn't physically acting in it. Just shut up and deal.
