The film opened on October 20th, 2006 and is still playing in 22 theatres across the country!
Take a look at the winning entries:
1st Place -- The Tragic Couple
Forbidden love ends in tragedy, but not even death could stop a love like this! How did they die? Betrayal and poison, of course; but on the surface you might think a knife and a spider.

2nd Place -- Marianne
Marianne died when she was only sixteen years old. Marianne was a bright, lively, young woman, but a bit overly romantic. Alive, she fell deeply in love with a young man. In a passionate gesture, she offered her heart to him, only to have him not accept it and hand it back. In a deep state of melancholy, she tried to put her heart back where it belonged but it just wouldn't fit anymore. Without her heart or her love, she pined and wasted away. Now she walks about, toting her heart around on a ribbon tied around her waist in hopes that someday she can put it back.

2nd Place -- The Tinman
"I'll build a tinwoodsman" Dr. Finkelstein said, "to cut down the forest trees when they're all dead." But a gear soon got stuck. The machine ran amock, and it cut down poor Finkel instead.

2nd Place -- The Tooth Fairy
She goes bump in the night and picks up teeth because her own are so ugly. She has a wrench to help out those hard to lose teeth. Sometimes when she is in a bad mood she is known as the Root Canal Fairy.

2nd Place -- Jaw-Head

The Nightmare Before Christmas was released October 29th, 1993 and stars Danny Elfman, Chris Sarandon, Catherine O'Hara, William Hickey, Glenn Shadix, Paul Reubens, Ken Page, Edward Ivory. The film is directed by Henry Selick.
