The Next Shrek Gets a Date

DreamWorks has announced the first major motion picture to be released in 2010. According to Variety, that dubious distinction goes to The Next Shrek, which will bow on May 10th of that year.

As of now, this fourth installment of the Shrek series has this particular weekend all to itself. Script details are being kept under lock and key.

Earlier this week, Jeffrey Katzenberg announced that there would also be a Shrek the Fifth sometime in the near future.

Shrek Forever After was released May 21st, 2010 and stars Mike Myers, Eddie Murphy, Cameron Diaz, Antonio Banderas, Julie Andrews, Jon Hamm, John Cleese, Craig Robinson. The film is directed by Mike Mitchell.

    Naaaaaaaaaaaah!!! Don't people just get it that after the third sequal, the movie pretty much has started loosing it's flavour. I mean what more lines could they give Puss in Boots LOL??? And not to say that i haven't enjoyed all the Shreks...I love Donkey, he's the funniest of them all ha ha ha...! But i do agree, if the money keeps coming, why stop making more sequals?? So keep making them~:)

    I think its cool!!!!!!!!!! Shrek is one of my fav movies. Its funny and its interesting. I can't wait till the fourth one comes out. Just because certain people don't like it doesn't mean the rest of the world don't like it either.
