The Mutant Chronicles Trailer Hits!

Apple Trailers has released the new trailer for director Simon Hunter's The Mutant Chronicles, which opens in selected theaters on April 24th.



The sci-fi action adventure stars Thomas Jane, Ron Perlman, Devon Aoki and John Malkovich, among others.

Set in 2707, the film is about the depleted world with corporations in constant war, when suddenly The Machine, after not working for a long time, begins transforming soldiers and civilians into hordes of mutants. After a small part of the population escapes to Mars, leaving millions of people behind, a man of faith and leader of an ancient brotherhood Brother Samuel and his crew attempts a suicide mission to destroy The Machine, planting a bomb and a detonator following the knowledge of the Chronicles. Together they become the last hope of Earth against the evil mutants.

Mutant Chronicles was released April 24th, 2009 and stars Thomas Jane, Ron Perlman, Devon Aoki, Sean Pertwee, Benno Fürmann, John Malkovich, Anna Walton, Tom Wu. The film is directed by Simon Hunter.

    This film had the potential to be so awesome, but is majorily let down.
    I was actually surprised to see this being released on DVD in the UK before the US theatrical release.
