@moviegeek Kind of wish the film actually focused more on the Muppets surrounding around their little Rom-Com story. The trailer and this poster sure make you think that. After seeing the film, this poster really means nothing. lol

So basically, the Muppets hijack a generic romantic comedy? That's awesome.

This was a fantastic trailer. The only reason I knew it was for The Muppets was because that was the title of the article. I showed my mom after I watched it and she was completely confused!

From the TV show and its legendary openings and "Pigs in Space" skit, to the Muppet Movie (damn you Doc Hopper, and your Frog Leg Restaurants) and The Great Muppet Caper, this has always been one of my favorite past times. Some of the movies since have not been great, but this one may find that little "rainbow connection," and bring some nice holiday cheer.

Clever little teaser...I have complete faith that the re-teaming of the dynamic duo from "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" will do a fine job with this

I really hope this does the Jim Henson foundation proud. The man was a genius (The Dark Crystal anyone?). There is a lot ot live up to here. Crossesfingers.

When this trailer started playing at the Pirates midnight premiere, I was like "It's the Muppets trailer, it has to be!" But it kept on going on this terrible romantic comedy tangent and I was worried, and then the Muppets showed up and all was well! Great trailer!

@thebd I respect your opinion about his films but all three of those movies share the same big problems. They are too drawn out and boring after awhile.

  15. The Narrator: The Better Man

Not saying it looks bad or good, as I can't judge properly having never watched the show seriously. That said, I can say I'm simply not interested, no matter how nostalgic it may be for some folks.

@thedude1 no no no no, this is made with love and as a tribute to the muppets. not as a cash grab like Garfield. this will be good. plus the trailer looked better then garfield right off the bat.

idc what anyone says i'm excited for this movie.

Amy Adams needs to stay away from this kind of film. She proved to me she can do hard hitting drama with The Fighter, I'm anxious to see more of that.
