    @ejk1 I didn't make that connection. Excellent point :)

    @narrator I totally agree. I just think anytime your in a movie alongside a former WWE superstar and Jamie Chung, that should be all the indication one needs :)

    @XxNickTheFilmCriticXx Possibly. I'm leaning towards @ejk1's thoughts on the matter now, however. The cash probably doesn't hurt either :)

    The RZA directing...I don't know what I think about that exactly. But this does look interesting. Maybe this will pave some ground for Dragonball Z HA HA

    Its a niche audience but i have a feeling those who are interested in this will really love. However the same thing that people love about it is what others will despise.

    I do love how much convorsation this article has stirred up.

    LOOKS INSANE!! My kinda movie...but why'd we only see RZA in like 3 scenes. Thought he'd get more shine in the first trailer

  18. the Narrator

    The film will feature music from the Wu Tang Clan and The Black Keys? The soundtrack, the erotica, and the almost grating amount of cheese make this film seemingly worth watching... on bootleg or dvd, that is. :P

    In regards to good actors taking on bad roles, I say nah, @thedude-abides, @bawnian-dexeus. All actors, even the great ones, see a film on paper with what could be a passionate director and think, this sound descent. Then when the final product is on screen, they see how different it turned out to be when compared to their thoughts on the day they were pitched the film. At least, that's my theory.

    @dan1, holy yes! She looks to f*cking amazing, no matter the quality of the actual film. Haha. She's another reason why I'm going to see Premium Rush despite the mediocrity of the trailers.

    And Sam Jackson OWNED the role of Elijah Price/Glass Man in Unbreakable. I mean, the way he delivered the ending lines gave me chills: "Now that we know who you are... I know who I am. I'm not a mistake! It all makes sense. In a comic, you know how you can tell who the arch-villain's going to be? He's the exact opposite of the hero, and most time's they're friends, like you and me. I should've known way back when. You know why, David? Because of the kids. They called me Mr. Glass. "

  21. thedude-abides

    @skywise I think he's been on record as saying he wants to take as many roles as possible while he still can.

    @dan1 His cameo in Goodfellas notwithstanding, I would agree (but then again you did say "roles" and not "films") And I'd definitely throw Unbreakable in there as well.

    @bawnian-dexeus Agreed.

  22. skywise

    @dan1 he MADE the Long Kiss Goodnight but i would add Die Hard with a Vengeance as well. He was amazing in that. and i agree with @bawnian-dexeus about Star Wars. Never has SJ been so wooden but that really isnt his fualt.

  25. Dan

    @thedude-abides@bawnian-dexeus@skywise The 3 roles that standout the most for me when it comes to Sam Jackson are from Pulp Fiction, Long Kiss Goodnight, and his take on Fury, of course. Everything else? Eh (special mention of Unbreakable).

  26. skywise

    @thedude-abides It does sort of seem like he takes any role that comes his way as long as he stars. I dont even want to mention SNakes on a Plane but when talking about Sam Jackson and bad choices, i cant help it.

    I know a lot of people enjoyed that but i was not one of them

  27. thedude-abides

    @bawnian-dexeus Not that race matters here, but I often refer to Sam Jackson as the black Nic Cage. Every so often he comes across a decent role, but he's mainly about the money.
