Dude, Benny, I thought you were f*cking with me, so I just returned the phone call. Calm down, man, no need to step over the edge.

Oh, and by the way: I'm just kidding I'm a p*ssy.

STFU Zany, were do you pull out a little attack like that from? your vag? I was pointing out your obvious excitement for the flick. Go suck a fatty, c*ck-breath. And dont try to sugar coat it by saying "just kidding I'm a p*ssy" the way you did.

Yes, the killer, Mr. Harvey, rapes and murders the girl, but based on the screenplay, it seems they've cut down on the graphic material. I think they're aiming at a PG13 rating.

Which by the way, I have a copy if any one wants it...

Wait, Cell. Theres a raping? I haven't read the book but if there is, I hope they leave it out man.

Looks great! There's something about Mark Wahlberg in 70's outfits that gets me un easy... I just hope he doesn't show his fake c*ck in this one.

It is the story of a teenage girl who, after being brutally raped and murdered, watches from heaven as her family and friends go on with their lives, while she herself comes to terms with her own death. The novel received a great deal of critical praise and became an instant bestseller.

    Well, aren't you a f*cking stand-up-poseur... ;P

Eh, Benny (or do you prefer BJ), or how about wet-sagging-douche-bag.

And FYI, I didn't sh*t my pants, I... (Oh, wait wouldn't that be labeled under the term: "awkward." My bad, wouldn't want to sound like a hypocritical-dip-sh*t, now would I).

Naturally, I'm going to assume you were joking (as was I), and if not, well, no losses. ;)

    Have a nice day, right?

I think ZanyZap there sh*t his pants. I agree with Diaigma, The heaven scenes totally reminded me of What Dreams May Come. Wasn't the introduction by Peter Jackson (not Pete J, or PJ, he's not your f*ckin buddy)kind of akward? lol. He never fails to deliver.

With the award season looming (okay, they're like six months away), and the release of this excellent, exceptionally well done trailer, I felt obligated to throw in some early predictions.

    Definite Contenders:
    1. Best Picture
    2. Best Director
    3. Best Adapted Screenplay
    4. Best Supporting Actor

    Potential Contenders:
    5. Best Actress (She's young, and she has been nominated before)
    6. Best Supporting Actress (Rachel Weisz. Crying.)
    7. Best Visual Effects (Hello, Heaven!)

    Hopeful Contenders:
    8. Best Original Score (Brian Eno. Scoring a movie. Brian Eno)
    9. Best Editing
    10. Best Cinematography

    There's-that-chance Contenders:
    11. Best Costume Design ( Eh, 70's look and feel. A lot of other contenders.)

And to top it all of Brian Eno has pulled one of his old, never produce songs from the 70's and has recreated it especially for the film.

    12. Best Original Song? Maybe.

Or this movie could all be hype and an extreme let down. But based on the trailer, the cast, the director, and the talented award worthy crew, it won't.

This movie doesn't look good....it looks phenomenal. Looks like Peter Jackson is about to prove himself yet again!! I freakin love the look of the heaven sequences, exactly how it should be, exaggerated in extreme beauty...incredible stuff. Mark my words, This movie will be nominated for at least one oscar, if not more. Cant wait to see it.
Oh and the trailer is very well put together, definitely one of my new favorites, now all I need is Avatar......August 21st cant come soon enough.

    Agreed, Fallen
And Stanley Tucci sounds amazing as the killer. I'm not sure about the highly stylized Heaven sequences. Looks like just an excuse to show off the guns. Oh well, it's Pete J.

And Mark Wahlberg looks more promising than I thought.
