The Lone Ranger Set Photos Featuring Armie Hammer and Silver

Production continues in New Mexico on The Lone Ranger, which is working towards a May 31, 2013 release. We have showed you photos of Johnny Depp and Armie Hammer on the set before, but the new shots we have today are different for a few reasons. First off, these photos give us our first look at both actors on horseback, and we can see the Ranger's trusty steed Silver being attended to before filming a scene. We also have new photos of Tonto, but with the heavy white facial makeup he's wearing (and a few arm tattoos we haven't seen before), we aren't sure if these are photos of Johnny Depp, or his stunt double. The Lone Ranger comes to theaters July 3rd, 2013 and stars Johnny Depp, Helena Bonham Carter, Armie Hammer, William Fichtner, Tom Wilkinson, Barry Pepper, James Badge Dale, James Frain. The film is directed by Gore Verbinski.
