The Lone Ranger crew member passes away in Los Angeles
"We regretfully confirm that a Lone Ranger crew member has passed away after being taken to a local hospital. Our hearts and thoughts are with his family, friends, and colleagues at this time, and our full support is behind the investigation into the circumstances of this terrible event."
The Johnny Depp adventure was not shooting today, although the man was prepping a large tank, possibly cleaning it. When others noticed that no bubbles were surfacing from the water, they pulled him out.
He was transported to a local hospital via helicopter, although responders could not revive him in flight. The man was pronounced dead at the hospital. Investigators are calling it a "natural death" at this time, although a full autopsy will be conducted over the weekend.
The Lone Ranger comes to theaters July 3rd, 2013 and stars Johnny Depp, Helena Bonham Carter, Armie Hammer, William Fichtner, Tom Wilkinson, Barry Pepper, James Badge Dale, James Frain. The film is directed by Gore Verbinski.

I can understand that this may be a natural death, but what's up with all these deaths on set? If I'm correct, there's been at least 6-8 this year - if not more - this year.

I give this man as much respect as I would give to an acting legend that would pass away. Without him or millions like him in the film business, a film would not be complete.
