Those venturing out to see Cars 2 in 3D this weekend will be treated to a special preview of The Lion King 3D. Starting tomorrow, June 24th, the first four minutes of Walt Disney's timeless classic will play before the all-new animated Pixar short Toy Story: Hawaiian Vacation.

Simba, Mufasa, Nala, Timon and Pumbaa are back and better than ever this fall when Disney's The Lion King roars into theaters and homes in breathtaking 3D.

A special two-week theatrical extravaganza kicks off Sept. 16, 2011, showcasing the Oscar- and Golden Globe- winning film on the big screen in Disney Digital 3DTM for the first time ever, and its highly anticipated home entertainment debut kicks off October 4, celebrating the Diamond Edition release of the epic movie "The Lion King" in high-definition Blu-ray and 3D Blu-ray.

The Lion King 3D is in theaters September 16th for two weeks only.

Cars 2 was released June 24th, 2011 and stars Larry The Cable Guy, Owen Wilson, Michael Caine, Emily Mortimer, Eddie Izzard, John Turturro, Brent Musburger, Joe Mantegna. The film is directed by John Lasseter, Brad Lewis.

The Lion King was released June 15th, 1994 and stars Jonathan Taylor Thomas, Matthew Broderick, Jeremy Irons, James Earl Jones, Moira Kelly, Nathan Lane, Niketa Calame, Ernie Sabella. The film is directed by Roger Allers, Rob Minkoff.
