Law & Order Los Angeles may be on its way
Apparently this series has been in development for some time as the site reveals that NBC has even handed out a 13-episode order for the first season, to debut this fall. Blake Masters, who created the series Brotherhood, is currently writing the series with Wolf. No story details were revealed, only that the show would be set in Los Angeles.
The site is also reporting that it is looking promising for both Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and Law & Order to receive renewals for next season. It would be Law & Order: Special Victims Unit's 12th season on the air while the original Law & Order would be entering into its record-breaking 21st season, which would break the record of longest-running dramatic series, held by Gunsmoke, which ran from 1955 to 1975. Law & Order: Criminal Intent is currently airing its ninth season on the USA Network.
However, both NBC and Wolf Films declined comment for the story. We'll be sure to keep you posted with any new updates about this potential fourth series in the Law & Order family.

I might watch it being set in Los Angeles. I hope they'll make some of the story lines dark and gritty. And last of all have a cast that is as good as Law And Order SVU.
