Why are people giving it bad reviews...? The movie was good, entertaining and very family orientated (No Gore/blood - no nudity). Granted, it's no Troy, 300 or King Arthur, so if you're looking for some epic battle with plenty of digital affects then this isn't for you. Having said that there were plenty of fight scenes, with a hint of romance and twist on the sword in the stone. It's is a movie I will buy but even for a one off rental its good enough to entertain the family for the night, so grab a popcorn, sit down, put your feet up and relax while you watch another tale unfold!

This looks like something you see on the SciFi channel that was produced on a budget of $100.00 and a promise to do yard work. A child actor as the star? Bad idea. I guess they didn't see Star Wars Epidoe 1. Looks like box office poison to me.

I think they should bring in Uwe Boll to executive produce; that should improve things!! :S

Ben Kingsley is not the best at picking good movie roles. Niether is Colin Firth now that think about it. Thus prooving my point that this movie is gonna blow.

I agree with you guys.....Yeah big ole gay movie . & For the record Excalibur was gay too , & the lady in the lake . That dirt is historically innacurate & they didn't get the mullets correct . Child actors are gay too . I hate this movie . & the video won't even play on my computer .

For the record - Excalibur wasn't the sword in the stone!! ;)
Excalibur was retrieved from "the lake" (as in the lady of the lake) after Arthur broke the sword from the stone in battle. :p

Looks gay. I can never get into movies with child stars that try to act intimidating and heroic.
