I have to ask-What was the last TRULY SCARY movie anyone has seen in recent yrs? Ever? I can wait for this one to go to DVD I think.

I was entertained and creeped out. Good work Eli. About time. What took so long for this film to be released?

how was paranormal touted as revolutionary when all it did was copy from Blair Witch and [REC] (aka quarantine)?

this is my cup of tea, looks entertaining.
not bad acting for an indie horror flick, either.

erm lets just say this film is a wannabe Paranormal Activity

@todd89 I agree. Paranormal Activity was touted as some revolutionary, new breed of scary movie, and their promotion of it was a "theater full of teenage/college kids got scared from it". So what, they are the easiest to amuse, they shouldn't count.

This is probably what you get when you mix The Exorcism of Emily Rose and Paranormal Activity. It is directed as Paranormal Activity but the scenes are copied from Emily Rose. I am looking forward to this.

@zender you shouldn't diss a movie that was considered for limited and that was hyped and critisized as amazing to be cheap.. it was a limited movie, did you expect it to be big, did you expect the actors names to be big too... NO! therefore the worst thing to call a movie like that is, cheap.. because there is absolutley no way it wouldn't be..

looks horrible and it looks just as cheep as Paranormal Activity, I wish actors would learn the craft before getting in any film. That and write an original script for once.
Horror films nowadays are dumb, I think I better watch the four directors that I mostly like. Instead of all the horrid, no story type of horror.

looks lame. the "preacher" looks miscast and the contortionist demon possessions are cliche now.

For once I'd like to see a film where the characters take the advice of the kid up front, turn around and leave town. Maybe we could see them stop at the Olive Garden on the way out, have a nice lunch with a couple of bread sticks, return home and have a pleasant evening enjoying a good book or perhaps writing a letter to a good friend. But noooo, it's always "let's stick around and watch a girl break her own neck and crawl on the ceiling." I don't know about you but the Olive Garden sounds like a much better option to me.
