The Legend of Korra takes place 70 years after the events of Avatar: The Last Airbender and follows the adventures of the Avatar after Aang - a passionate, rebellious, and fearless teenaged girl from the Southern Water Tribe named Korra. With three of the four elements under her belt (Earth, Water, and Fire), Korra seeks to master the final element, Air. Her quest leads her to the epicenter of the modern "Avatar" world, Republic City - a metropolis that is fueled by steampunk technology. It is a virtual melting pot where benders and non-benders from all nations live and thrive. However, Korra discovers that Republic City is plagued by crime as well as a growing anti-bending revolution that threatens to rip it apart. Under the tutelage of Aang's son, Tenzin, Korra begins her airbending training while dealing with the dangers at large.

its also being said that Dante Basco, who did the voice for Zuko, is coming back to the show to voice a character that is in some way connected to Zuko...son or grandson perhaps?

It ws said sometime before that past Avatar characters might or could make appearances in this series, Aang is a give in since Korra will be able to communicate with him being the Avatar before her, but with it being 70 years later, who else would be able to appear on this show?...Toph maybe?...an old Zuko still being the firelord?

You know who could make a kick-ass live adaptation of this new series? Joss Wheldon. He's good with female lead roles, comedy and action. It all fits. I know people are still weary from the last adaptation, but with the right director, and right script, along with Brian and Mike as consultants/executive producers, they could really hit it out of the park. Of course we have to see the animated series first xP.
