Jason Statham's The Killer Elite will open on September 23
Jason Statham stars in The Killer Elite as Danny, a former covert agent who is lured out of retirement to save the life of his mentor, played by Robert De Niro. Clive Owen portrays the villainous leader of a group called "The Feather Men," who Danny's team must infiltrate.
Gary McKendry directed The Killer Elite from a screenplay he co-wrote with Matt Sherring. The movie is based on The Feather Men, a non-fiction book written by Ranulph Fiennes.
The story is set all over the globe in locales such as Paris, Wales, London, Dubai, and Oman. The Killer Elite is produced by Michael Boughen, Sigurjon Sighvatsson, Steve Chasman, and Tony Winley.
Killer Elite was released September 23rd, 2011 and stars Jason Statham, Clive Owen, Robert De Niro, Dominic Purcell, Aden Young, Yvonne Strahovski, Ben Mendelsohn, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje. The film is directed by Gary McKendry.
