The Irishman Cast Gets Rounded Out

A slew of actors have just joined director Jonathan Hensleigh's new film. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Vincent D'Onofrio, Vinnie Jones, Paul Sorvino, Fionnula Flanagan, Laura Ramsey, Steve Schirripa, Linda Cardellini and Bob Gunton have all joined the cast of Hensleigh's The Irishman.

They join the already-announced cast of Ray Stevenson, Christopher Walken and Val Kilmer. Hensleigh will direct from a script he co-wrote with Jeremy Walters, an adaptation of "To Kill the Irishman: The War That Crippled the Mafia" by Rick Porrello, which tells the tale of real-life gangster Danny Greene.

Shooting is scheduled to start next week in Detroit.

Kill the Irishman was released March 11th, 2011 and stars Ray Stevenson, Vincent D'Onofrio, Val Kilmer, Christopher Walken, Linda Cardellini, Tony Darrow, Robert Davi, Fionnula Flanagan. The film is directed by Jonathan Hensleigh.
