"lostone01" is right. While real crystal skulls are fashioned after humans, the one in the new poster does look a bit too altered to be human, but rather humanoid. Real crystal skulls were thought to have healing powers, and give psychic abilities to its' possessor, but that was shot down in the mid fifties, and has no support in the scientific community. And the movie takes place in '57. So...maybe this alien version of the skull means something entirely different from the real ones? Plus with the crate room revisited, you'd bet the ark will make a reappearance...right?

Just watched the new movie trailer for this did anyone else see the metal crate with the words "ROSWELL NEW MEXICO" and the date 1947. This is the year of the aledged space craft crash in that state. Also remember someone saying the crystal skull looked alien like. Just an observation make of it what you will.

I cant get enough of this! Indiana Jones is the man!
A little backtrack here relating to JasonBourne's statement as well as a few others. George Lucas is a genius, an innovator, a good filmmaker and an unbelievable story teller. He has come up with some of the best story ideas in cinema history.... but unfortunately he absolutely sucks at dialogue which sadly to say, without it you dont have a perfect movie. That is where the SW prequels fell short.....way short. Plus bringing on an actor like Hayden Christenson, who sucks at delivering dialogue no matter who writes it, doesn't help the situation. But we dont have to worry about that on Indy because he didn't write the dialogue and Shia is great at delivering it. Anyway I for one am a huge SW and Indy fan, both of which wouldnt exist if it were not for George Lucas. Give the guy credit where its due.
Spielberg, Lucas, Shia, Harrison....You cant go wrong.
