Morten Tyldum has been hired to direct Graham Moore's drama The Imitation Game.

The film centers on the life of Alan Turing, a British mathematician who cracked the German Enigma Code during World War II. The success helped allied troops fend off enemy forces and survive the onslaught. Graham Moore penned the screenplay. He is also producing with Teddy Schwarzman, Nora Grossman and Ido Ostrowsky.

Leonardo DiCaprio was recently interested in playing Alan Turing, but nothing has been confirmed. Morten Tyldum is best known for his work on Headhunters.

No production schedule has been released.

The Imitation Game comes to theaters November 21st, 2014 and stars Benedict Cumberbatch, Keira Knightley, Mark Strong, Charles Dance, Matthew Goode, Allen Leech, Tuppence Middleton, Rory Kinnear. The film is directed by Morten Tyldum.
