The Iceman Trailer

Millennium Films has released the first trailer for The Iceman, director Ariel Vromen's crime thriller that explores the life of serial killer Richard Kuklinski a.k.a The Iceman. Michael Shannon stars as the title character, a devoted husband and father who also worked as a hitman for the mafia, killing more than 250 people between 1964 and 1986. Take a look at the first footage, also starring David Schwimmer, Winona Ryder, Chris Evans, Ray Liotta, and Maggie Gyllenhaal.

    I love how Hollywood likes to embellish and twist people's stories a bit to make them more appealing. From what I'd seen of this guy, his story was entertaining enough without the added sp*ce. He was not a good husband, he beat his wife. He was a distant father. The one thing that rang true was the fact that he'd kill for his family if he had the slightest inkling that harm would befall them. According to him, he'd killed his first person when he was just a kid himself out of the frustration of being bullied at school. He beat him to death with a closet rod. When nothing happened he donned the killer mentality. Anyway, I won't judge solely from this trailer as to whether or not they changed a lot. I'd still watch it. This looks as though it will be quite entertaining.
