Mark Ruffalo's The Hulk will get a stand-alone reboot in 2015
Paul Gitter, Marvel's president of consumer products, recently revealed that plans are in place for a stand-alone merchandising line to be unveiled next year, which will be, "presumably supported by another big budget franchise movie in 2015."
The Hulk has a unique cinematic history over the past decade. Ang Lee's 2003 Hulk didn't exactly set the world on fire at the box office, which lead to Louis Leterrier's The Incredible Hulk reboot in 2008. Even though The Incredible Hulk fared much better, both critically and financially, than Hulk, Marvel still replaced Edward Norton with Mark Ruffalo in Marvel's The Avengers.
Don't be surprised to hear more about this project in the near future, once the box office receipts for Marvel's The Avengers start to roll in.
Marvel's The Avengers was released May 4th, 2012 and stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Tom Hiddleston, Clark Gregg. The film is directed by Joss Whedon.

Would love for them to pursue the Hulk Busters, General Thunderbolt Ross and his mutation to the Red Hulk out of revenge. Would get more people interested

i'm pretty sure it won't be a reboot just a sequel to the Incredible Hulk

@corey I agree. His performance as the Hulk/Bruce Banner was very good. I hope he'll be back for a new Hulk movie and possibly the Avengers 2.

I personally think if Ruffalo was in it it'd turn out good.

NO. The Hulk doesn't work on his own, that's been proven both of the last two times.

Spoiler Alert in my comment below!!!: Don't read it if you have not seen the Avengers yet!!!

@Carroll-Boxwell No, that wasn't a red hulk. It was Thanos and the other credits scene was the Avengers team sitting quietly together eating, which that was pretty funny seeing at the end :P .

are they planning on making another Avengers? On the end credits on the Avengers movies was that a red hulk?

@bawnian-dexeus ...Thats true about the Chitauri actually being known as Skrulls in the Ulitmate comics, but i think its good they went with just the general version of Chitauri this time, so that maybe by the time the sequels for The Avengers or other space based films Marvel Studios does, they will have the rights and be able to use the actual Skrulls as villians

So let me get this straight...Whedon himself said Coulson would survive The Avengers movie...then he doesnt...then it says Gregg is in nagotiations to reprise his role in IM3...confused here??

@Robert-McDougal You mean Iron Man 3, I hope. Iron Man 2 came out in 2010.

@bawnian-dexeus Lookit that, I'm learning a sh*t ton today. Haha. Cleared up that question, then. Thanks!

@vampire2000 Actually, The Chituari are an Ultimate version of the Scrull. They didn't use the former name because of copyrights

@bane5000 That's an interesting concept. However, I'm wondering if maybe he was teleported the Skrull planet or something. That's what I assumed the Chitauri were supposed to be, but clearly they're saving the Skrull for later, if anything at all.

@vampire2000...Well Marvel still has some explaining to do when it comes to Red Skull, cuz as u saw what The Cube did for Loki and Thor, the same thing had to happen to Red Skull...Question is where did he get transported to and will they bring him back for a Cap sequel or tease his whereabouts in one of the upcoming films
I was hoping they would show that he had over thrown Asgard somehow is now the king :D

@bawnian-dexeus I really hope that Amora does make her appearance in Thor 2. She was always my favorite of Thor's villains.
@bane5000 Yeah, like I said, he looked an awful lot like Red Skull, and there was an article at one point that said the Skull was gonna be in the film, so that's why I was all "Op. Red Skull. Wooohoo!" Haha.

@bane5000 And, if Thor 2 introduces Amora, it would make that idea much more plausible

@vampire2000...Yeah not alot of people are fimiliar with the character Thanos, even people in the theater I was in saw the scene and said out lout " Who was that ? "...he's basically the big baddie of the galaxy in Marvel Comics.
@bawnian-dexeus...Thats what im hoping for, remember what the other told Loki " If you fail, there is no place in the universe for u to hide that my master can not find u, and he will make u suffer "...Maybe Loki, to save is own skin after his failure with The Tesseract, offers Thanos the Inifinity Gauntlet :]

@vampire2000 Basically, the giant glove in Thor is gonna be the next weapon to cripple the universe

@bane5000 Well he looked an awful lot like Red Skull, and I have no idea who Thanos is. -shrugs- I assumed Red Skull. Looking forward to a sequel nonetheless.

@vampire2000@scoobots...The person that turns with a grin at the end is Thanos, the person speaking to him is The Other, the one who gave Loki the spear at the beginning of the movie...Red Skull is not in the movie at all....IMDB.COM messed up once again
