Allen and Albert Hughes are gearing up for the post-apocalyptic thriller Book of Eli. The twin siblings will direct the film for Warner Brothers. According to Variety, it is their first film since 2001's From Hell.

The film will follow a lonely fighter who is forced to battle his way across a nuke-ravaged America. He is the sole protector of a sacred book that holds the key to saving humanity.

Joel Silver is producing the film. Silver and the Hughes Brothers are already trying to attract a cast. If they can find their lead star, the movie will most likely go into production before the end of the year.
