The Host Photos with Saoirse Ronan, Jake Abel, and William Hurt

Last month, Open Road Films debuted the new trailer for The Host, an adaptation of author Stephenie Meyer's first post-Twilight book. Today, we have 10 new photos, but don't expect to see any Bedazzled vampires or werewolves in this movie. The story is set in a future where most of humanity has been taken over by alien organisms known as Souls, who can take over their host's mind and body. Saoirse Ronan stars as Melanie Stryder, one of the few left who haven't been infiltrated by these aliens, as she goes on a journey to find her family. These photos offer a closer look at the Souls, dressed in all white, along with Saoirse Ronan, Jake Abel, and Max Irons, and William Hurt in director Andrew Niccol's adaptation.

The Host was released March 29th, 2013 and stars Saoirse Ronan, Max Irons, Diane Kruger, William Hurt, Rachel Roberts, Stephen Rider, Emily Browning, Jake Abel. The film is directed by Andrew Niccol.

    This is another Twilight, Stephanie Meyer said that this is diferent, a sci fi story, but from the pictures it looks like is more romance than Sci fi, not interested.
